A Petrolhead Weekend at Gredos Garage

Imagine a weekend surrounded by classic cars, spectacular mountain roads and Castilian gastronomy. At Gredos Garage we make it happen. Located in La Adrada, in the heart of the Tiétar Valley, our venue combines a car museum, restoration workshop and starting point for the best routes in the Sierra de Gredos.

Friday: Arrival and Welcome

Arrive in La Adrada in the afternoon and check into one of the local rural hotels. We recommend Casa Rural El Tiétar or Hotel Rural La Adrada. In the evening, a welcome dinner at a local restaurant with mountain produce: Avila beef chop, Barco butter beans and wines from the D.O. Cebreros.

Saturday: Museum, Workshop and Drive

In the morning, a guided tour of the Gredos Garage museum. Walk through our collection of European and American classics as we explain the history and technical details of each piece. Afterwards, access the workshop where you can see restorations in progress and learn about the artisan techniques we employ.

After lunch, we organise a group drive along the most beautiful roads of Gredos. Puerto del Pico or the Burguillo reservoir route, depending on the season. If you bring your own classic, even better; if not, we can arrange a driving experience in one of our cars.

Sunday: Relaxation and Shopping

A relaxed morning visiting La Adrada and its medieval castle. Browse the Sunday market if the timing is right, and buy local products: Gredos honey, goat's cheese and artisan charcuterie. Optional visit to local wineries.
